Sumi Ink Rubbing on Japanese Paper with a deckle edge. 40 x 40 cm
Using a traditional Chinese ink rubbing technique, paper is pressed directly on top a carved slate stone to create an impression which is then pounced gently with sumi ink, leaving a print.
Limited edition of 5 prints only.

Due to the nature of the technique used to create this print, the paper has slight creases and imprintation. The paper is rubbed directly onto the carved stone, using a traditional Japanese ink print method and natural variations will occur with each print.
